This year’s new New Balance 950 shoe starts with the MLB logo on the tongue. It’s lighter, the traction is better, the comfort is great! If you've tried the New Balance 995 style in the past few years this is the 2012 upgrade!

The mid style has additional support around your ankles. If you've never tried a mid-height officiating shoe you really should. Most people who try them agree the small amount of added weight is easily overcome by the additional comfort and support. The special turf outsole is great for virtually any outdoor activity from artificial fields to wet grass.
